Werner Q2 Revenues Up 15% To $463.5m
Werner Enterprises has reported total revenues of $463.5m for the second quarter of 2010, an increase of 15% compared to $403m for the same quarter in 2009.
The company's operating income were $35.5m for the second quarter which is an increase of 61.4% compared to $22.01m for the same period last year.
The company posted income before income taxes of $35.9m for the quarter compared to $22.4m for the same quarter in 2009.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2010, the company posted net income of 20.9m, or $0.29 per share, compared to $12.6m, or $0.18 per share, for the same period last year.
Werner Enterprises is a transportation and logistics company, with coverage throughout North America, Asia, Europe, South America, Africa and Australia.
The company's services includes medium-to-long-haul, regional and local van capacity, temperature-controlled services, freight management, truck brokerage, intermodal, load/mode and network optimization and freight forwarding.
