ProLogis Leases 471,000sqft Of Distribution Space In UK
ProLogis, a provider of distribution facilities, has signed lease agreements totaling 471,000sqft to two customers in the UK.
The company said that it has leased 402,000sqft of distribution space at ProLogis Park Kettering to the Oxford University Press, a department of Oxford University, and 69,000sqft of distribution space at ProLogis Park Heathrow with a catering company.
ProLogis said that with this lease, four of the five buildings at the ProLogis Park Kettering, and three of the four buildings at the ProLogis Park Heathrow are fully occupied.
Andrew Griffiths, managing director of ProLogis UK, said: Recent first-quarter lease activity in the UK has filled two newly developed distribution centers. While we are still facing a challenging market environment, these new lease agreements indicate further signs of stabilization and improvement in the UK industrial property market.
