LBR Staff Writer Published 16 November 2009

To leverage Workforce Management across its distribution network and deploy Warehouse Management in some of its campuses

RedPrairie, a productivity software provider, has revealed that OHL, a global third-party logistics company (3PL), has selected it’s Warehouse Management and Workforce Management solutions.

OHL would leverage RedPrairie Workforce Management across its distribution network while RedPrairie Warehouse Management would be implemented in certain OHL campuses based on specific customer needs.

Catherine Cooper, CIO of OHL, said: OHL provides supply chain management solutions across the globe. Our continued growth requires technology that adapts to meet our customers’ changing needs. RedPrairie’s service-oriented architecture, experience working with large global companies, and customer-focused culture were key factors in our decision to add their warehouse and workforce solutions to OHL’s technology platform.

Bob Spieth, president of contract logistics at OHL, said: Part of our success for the past 58 years has been our ability to drive continuous improvement for our customers. Implementing Red Prairie in many of our campus operations will help OHL continue that success.
