MeadWestvaco Bonds With EPA’s SmartWay

The program brings EPA, freight industry and shippers together to increase energy efficiency.
Virginia-based MeadWestvaco (MWV) has been recognized as a SmartWay Transport Partner by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The program brings the EPA, freight industry and shippers together to increase energy efficiency, by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and fuel consumption associated with ground transportation.
SmartWay Transport Partners commits to ship at least 50% of their goods with carriers, who are also members of the program.
