Logwin sells land transportation activities to NUN Overland GmbH
Logwin, a logistics service provider, is repositioning its land transportation activities for Turkey and Greece. Against this background, Logwin Road + Rail Leibnitz GmbH is selling the activities of its site in Leibnitz to NUN Overland GmbH, Leibnitz, with effect from 1 September 2009.
All employees and the existing location are being transferred to NUN Overland GmbH as is the share in the Turkish company. Cooperation with Logwin Solutions Turkey in Istanbul would continue and this would remain a part of the business model in future, said the company.
Grevenmacher based Logwin AG develops logistics and service solutions for trade and industry. Logwin operates in markets worldwide and has over 400 locations across all continents, with its three business segments Solutions (customer-oriented contract logistics), Air + Ocean (global air and ocean freight forwarding activities) and Road + Rail (land and special transportation activities in Central, Western and Eastern Europe).
