KEC International Signs Contract With Kuehne + Nagel
To provide lead logistics solutions for KEC in India
KEC International has selected Kuehne + Nagel India as its partner for the provision of lead logistics solutions in Jaipur, Mumbai, Jabalpur and Nagpur.
Reportedly, the new three-year contract was signed based on Kuehne + Nagel’s track record in offering lead logistics solutions for Saregama India, the entertainment unit of RPG group.
In order to support KEC International in focusing on its core competency in the design, manufacture, supply and construction of turnkey projects for power transmission lines and in the execution of railway electrification projects, Kuehne + Nagel will provide a comprehensive scope of services. These include: order management, inbound and outbound transport planning and execution, lead service provider procurement, freight bill audit services, network analysis, freight management and documentation.
In addition, KEC will benefit from streamlined processes and the application of KN Login, Kuehne + Nagel’s web-based visibility, monitoring and reporting tool.
