Foster Farms Selects HighJump Warehouse Management System

LBR Staff Writer Published 23 June 2010

Foster Farms Dairy has selected supply chain management software provider HighJump Software’s warehouse management system (WMS) to optimize its operations.

According to HighJump, the WMS offering will be implemented in Foster's three manufacturing locations and one of its distribution centers. The WMS solution will enable Foster to satisfy its demands while achieving benefits including increased productivity, increased accuracy, and visibility.

In addition, Foster also plans to utilize the HighJump WMS to provide real-time visibility to its inventories, including finished goods, packaging and ingredients. The WMS solution will provide full lot track and trace capabilities in near real-time and help Foster reduce operational expenses.

The HighJump system will collect efficient data and provide Foster with user-friendly tools to analyze and present data in meaningful ways, facilitating and expediting enhanced business decisions, the company said.

Lon Nebiolini, technology and systems director of Foster Farms Dairy, said “We selected HighJump Software because of its strong reputation in the marketplace, successful applications in the food and beverage industries, and its full suite of supply chain execution solutions, which Foster Farms Dairy plans to take advantage of in the future.”
