FedEx to provide late pick up services for Eastern China to Europe exports
FedEx will provide late pick-up services for all FedEx international low-value shipments bound for cities in Europe from Ningbo, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Shaoxing and Shanghai.
This service of FeDex will provide an extra two hours to customers in select areas of these five cities for preparing their shipments, reports eyefortransport.com.
As a part of FedEx ongoing focus to strengthen its connection between China and Europe, this service enhancement adds up to the services enhanced earlier between China and Europe in response to customer demand.
The connection between the two regions accounts for 20% of China's total overseas shipments and is China's fastest growing export market, the website reported.
Launch of the express air cargo, the express direct flight from mainland China to Europe in March 2005, and the opening of FedEx's Asia Pacific hub in Guangzhou in February 2009 are part of the earlier enhancements by FedEx.
