DHL secures express shipping contract from Lord and Taylor
DHL, an express delivery and logistics company, has secured a contract from department store operator Lord and Taylor to provide exclusive US and international express shipping.
DHL will handle all of the US and international package shipments for Lord and Taylor, including shipments to and from the company's distribution center in Pennsylvania and 47 retail stores in nine states throughout the US. Through the new agreement, Lord and Taylor can also offer store customers the added convenience of delivery of in-store items purchased at any Lord and Taylor store. DHL will deliver these items upon request by customers to a business or residence. Jane Elfers, CEO of Lord and Taylor, said: This new partnership with DHL will enhance our customers' shopping experience and overall customer service at Lord and Taylor, as well support our on-going brand campaign centered on extraordinary quality and customer care.
