DEX Provides Reverse Logistics Solution To Diebold

LBR Staff Writer Published 07 February 2010

Supply-chain logistics provider, DEX Systems (DEX) has entered into an agreement with Diebold (DBD), a global provider of integrated self-service delivery and security systems and services. As per the deal, DBD will purchase DEX Systems' Reverse Logistics software for its Ohio facility, thus supporting global operation.

According to DEX, the software will be used for the Global Service Logistics facility to drive the entire Diebold depot repair operation located in North Canton. The software will increase visibility, control and efficiencies throughout their reverse logistics operation.

DEX software was designed to address the complexities of managing returns and reverse logistics for the global operation. These applications complement Oracle’s e-business suite by targeting the reverse logistics and aftermarket service industries.

Sheldon Malchicoff, chairman and CEO of DEX, said: “For an industry leader like Diebold to select our software to improve their reverse logistics operations, demonstrates the capability, flexibility and power of the DEX Systems application. Our configurable software modules are battle tested daily running worldwide operations resulting in improved inventory management and operational efficiencies.”

DEX Systems builds and deploys configurable software solutions supporting returns management and reverse logistics work streams.
