Company adds to OPEN SCAN's presence in the LTL and total load industries
Dayton Freight Lines, a less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier operating in 11 states in the North-Central US, has selected Open Scan Technologies' Corporate Accounts Receivable (A/R) Processing Software.
Nadine Lange, President and CEO of Open Scan, said: "After the 2008 rise in fuel prices and subsequent drop in transportation business, many transportation companies explored new technologies that would enable them to run leaner and more efficiently, to reap the benefits of automation as the economy rebounds. OPEN SCAN helps carriers do just that,”
Open Scan's solution tries to provide greater control, higher autopost hit rate, integrated deduction identification, and timely collections. The company's corporate A/R solution automates the cash application process for carriers.
Dayton Freight Lines operates a fleet of about 900 tractors and 2,000 trailers from a network of more than 40 terminals. Outside its home territory, Dayton Freight offers service in the rest of the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Guam through alliances with other carriers.
