Damco Selected As Supply Chain Partner By Piramal
Damco has been selected by Piramal Glass, a glass manufacturer for cosmetics & perfumery (C&P), pharmaceutical and specialty food & beverages (SF&B) industries, as their supply chain partner.
According to Damco, the new agreement is an extension to the business relationship that Piramal Glass had with the company over the past few years. Piramal glass is the only Asian glass manufacturer supplying to international Marquee clients across continents.
The company said that its focus for Piramal Glass is to ensure a supply chain, removing wastage, increasing reliability and providing an efficient network that will supply Piramal's growth plans. The company will continue to support Piramal Glass with opportunities through its new supply chain development programme.
In addition, Damco said that partnership with Piramal would increase Piramal's speed in the market, enabling the glass manufacturer to respond to global markets efficiently.
