Damco appoints new head of chemical logistics unit in Asia
Damco has appointed Goetz von Dresky as the new head of Chemical Logistics in Asia, where he will be responsible for product development and expanding the company's chemical business.
Based in Singapore, Dresky will report to Katherine Boesen, chief commercial officer for Damco in Asia Pacific.
Prior to this appointment, von Dresky served as head of commercial for Damco in Singapore and Malaysia.
He has been based in Asia since 1998, when he was with a UK-based logistics group Suttons International, which specializes in customized logistics solutions for the chemical industry.
von Dresky experience in chemical logistics and understanding of the Asian markets, I am confident that he will successfully drive Damco's chemical business in Asia, Boesen said.
