LBR Staff Writer Published 26 August 2010

Damco, provider of freight forwarding and supply chain management solutions, has appointed Andy Lim as the new country manager for Cambodia where he will be responsible for all aspects of the logistics and freight forwarding business.

Lim will report to Damco Cluster Manager Narin Phol in Vietnam and Cambodia.

Prior to joining the company, he held a series of management positions in YCH Group.

In his 13-year logistics career, Lim has worked as a third party logistics provider as well as a user of 3PL services.

I am very excited to work in an emerging market with so much growth potential, Damco has been in Cambodia since 1995 and we have a strong presence here with our own dedicated accounts and warehouse management teams, Lim said.

Our focus is on providing comprehensive supply chain solutions to support our customers’ logistics needs into and out of Cambodia.

Andy Lim brings a comprehensive understanding of commercial and operational strategies and strong track record of management success in Asian emerging markets to this role, Narin said.

I am confident he will lead the team to continue delivering effective solutions and excellent service to our customers.
