CN, TSI Sign SLA To Enhance Service At Port Metro Vancouver
Canadian National Railway Company (CN) has signed a new service level agreement (SLA) with TSI Terminal Systems, to enhance customer service and container throughput at Port Metro Vancouver.
According to CN, the new SLA with TSI establishes specific performance targets and measurement tools, and flows from their supply chain collaboration agreement which was signed in the last month.
The CN-TSI SLA was signed to help enhance a range of key performance indicators for benefit of mutual customers, including on-time departure and arrival of trains, utilization of train capacity, and average dwell time of containers at TSI terminals.
Claude Mongeau, president and CEO of CN, said: “TSI is an important, strategic partner of CN and this service level agreement is designed to drive continuous improvement in CN and TSI performance at the Vancouver Gateway, which is critical to better customer service and increased throughput at Port Metro Vancouver.”
Michael Moore, president and CEO of GCT Global Container Terminals, TSI's parent company, said: “Our relationship with CN continues to improve significantly and we are pleased to collaborate on delivering high-level service to our mutual customers.”
