Ceva signs contract with KAB Seating to manage shipping activities
Ceva Logistics has signed a contract with KAB Seating, the UK subsidiary of Commercial Vehicle Group, to manage international shipping activities of inbound and outbound freight transported to and from the UK.
Ceva also takes control of KAB Seating's UK collection and distribution activities. KAB Seating is part of the construction division of Commercial Vehicle Group. The company specializes in the manufacture and supply of comfortable, practical work seats for various types of vehicles. The contract will operate from KAB Seating's manufacturing plant in Northampton, where Ceva operates a number of shared-user and dedicated vehicles. Rob McWhirter, managing director of business development at Ceva Logistics, said: Ceva Logistics is delighted to work with KAB Seating to manage their supply chain. By providing KAB Seating with freight management and logistics services, KAB is able to optimize Ceva's complementary end to end supply chain service.
