CEVA China Launches New Services

Published:04-September-2009

The move would unite multiple domestic services under one name of "CEVA Ground China"

CEVA, a supply chain management company, has announced a re-branding project, which sees its China domestic road transport services renamed and launched as "CEVA Ground China".

The rebrand would unite multiple domestic services including line haul solution, pick up and delivery and cross border, under the one name of "CEVA Ground China".

CEVA said that the move would not only enable CEVA Ground China's 600 employees to provide domestics services under one brand, but also satisfy customer's end-to-end operational needs for last mile delivery, extending from the factory floor to the retail door, so that complete business to business and business to consumer services are offered to customers in all sectors.

As of today, CEVA Ground China handles an excess of 230 million kilos of road, rail and domestic air cargo throughout Greater China every year, making it one of the international service providers in China's domestic transportation market, said the company.

Ditlev Blicher, regional vice president of North Asia of CEVA, said: "With our newly rebranded and time-definite options, our customers will have access to an unprecedented suite of domestic expedited services which allow greater control, reduced risk, improved velocity and ultimately reduced delivery costs on critical shipments."

Air and Ocean Freight Management, Contract Logistics and CEVA Ground are the three business units at CEVA China which provide customers with an integrated portfolio of supply chain logistics solutions.
