The move would permit all Boost authorized representatives to use a single solution for ordering and returning products
Brightpoint North America, the subsidiary of Brightpoint, has signed a multi-year reverse logistics agreement with Boost Mobile. Under the agreement, Brightpoint is expected to perform all reverse logistics services for Boost Mobile.
Combined with Brightpoint's existing forward logistics services provided to Boost, this would permit all Boost authorized representatives (both Agents and Retailers) to use a single solution for ordering and returning products.
These services involve processing returns of Boost branded mobile phones and include, but are not limited to receiving/inspecting, reflashing, refurbishing/repairing, repackaging, shipping and recycling, said Brightpoint.
J. Mark Howell, president of Brightpoint Americas, said: "Brightpoint is pleased to grow our relationship with Boost Mobile. This announcement is consistent with our focus on expanding our reverse logistics capabilities as set forth in our press release dated Aug. 10, 2009. Brightpoint's proven wireless supply chain expertise provides tremendous service and value to Boost Mobile's reverse logistics requirements."
