APC Postal Logistics opens new Midwest facility

Published 23 October 2017

APC Postal Logistics, a provider of international ecommerce and mail delivery services, has expanded its presence in the Midwest with the opening of a new processing facility in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Located minutes from Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, it is one of three sortation and distribution hubs in the company’s portfolio spread strategically across the continental U.S.

“We are next door to O’Hare, a major international gateway, which means we can provide more efficient and faster uplift to customers in the heart of the country to any destination worldwide. And with our proximity to points north, we can also reduce transit times for materials outbound to Canada,” said Brian Fleisher, SVP & GM of the Chicago facility.

The launch of the new facility is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to continually improve delivery standards for customers.

“In the increasingly competitive landscape of cross-border commerce, shipping speed and costs have become major factors in consumer loyalty and decision-making,” said Michael Galianos, COO and Co-Founder. “We have years of experience optimizing export delivery lanes and we can provide our clients with reliable and fast delivery options at a reduced cost.”
