Eurotunnel also runs car services required for freight services. The non transport services of the company include retailing, telecommunications, and property development. It is principally engaged in installation and selling of fiber optic cables through the tunnel while Eurotunnel manage and maintain retail assortments and food courts. As a part of its property development services the company develops business parks and sites principally for manufacturing, distribution and commercial uses. The Cheriton Resources 17 Limited, a subsidiary of the company select, installs and operates security related technical solutions. It provides international ships and port facility security for port, maritime, rail and logistics industries.
